Frequencies & health in everyday working life

A workplace can be „within the limit value“ on paper and still feel stressful, loud and annoying. It is often certain frequencies such as booming low tones or shrill whistling sounds that stress our nervous system particularly strongly, even if the overall dB value is formally correct.

Using frequency-based sound analyses, we break down the noise into its individual frequency bands and identify precisely these „stress peaks“. This reveals which areas of the spectrum in the control room, at the machine or along the line are really stressful, i.e. exactly where people work for many hours.

Building on this, we develop technical soundproofing solutions that not only make everything a little quieter, but also specifically reduce the problematic frequencies: for example, constructive measures and anti-drumming materials against low-frequency droning as well as coordinated absorbers and cladding against high-frequency whistling and airflow noise.

👉 The result: less acoustic stress, better concentration, less fatigue and more productive workplaces.

If certain noises in your business are „just annoying“, even though the measured values seem to be OK, it is worth taking a look at the frequencies. Feel free to contact us if you would like to relieve your workstations in a frequency-specific manner.
