Currently in production: custom-made SONOLIT® sound insulation enclosure for a machining center

For a current customer project, we are manufacturing a completely pre-assembled SONOLIT® Sound Insulation Cap in lacquered finish with external dimensions of Approx. 4,800 x 1,800 x 1,500 mm (L x W x H). The capsule is built on a tube frame, it is Faucet and thanks to easily detachable elements, it is optimally prepared for maintenance and later adaptations.

The facilities include double-sided soundproof double doors, additional maintenance hatches with square operation, integrated ventilation with exhaust fan and silencers, and a soundproof ceiling with two angle sliders and pneumatic cylinders, including a drag chain and limit switch.

The deployed SONOLIT® Elements reach a Airborne sound insulation rating of Rw = 41 dB and enable under defined measurement conditions a Noise reduction of around 32–35 dB(A) at a distance of 1 m from the capsule outer wall.

Our customer benefits from a Robust, modular solution that effectively reduces noise and simultaneously offers high accessibility for operation, maintenance, and future machine adjustments.
